Giving back to those who you interact with on a daily basis like your friends, your family, people you know and don't know, will have the biggest impact on your daily mood and outlook on life. Giving back to others, will really bring you a feeling of pure joy. This is common knowledge, but no one seems to truly incorporate this concept into their every day lives. If you are looking to be a happier person, the easiest, most graceful, impactful way is through practicing kindness in your daily actions. This doesn't necessarily mean going out of your way to do good for others, but rather acting kindly in all of your interactions throughout your daily experiences. There really is no better feeling in this world than being selfless and practicing selflessness in knowing that you made a difference in someone else's life, even if it is the smallest act.

Understanding that you helped someone by making their day, their life even 1% better goes such a long way. The best part is, you can do this for free while not having to go too far out of your way or breaking the bank. Simply acting in a genuine manner towards anyone you interact with on a daily basis and helping them in the smallest way possible can make all the difference. You never know what anyone is going through in their current situation. We are all human, so your social status, skin color, race, or financial well-being doesn't matter. Regardless of who you are or where you came from or whatever you have done or accomplished in your life, you can still practice kindness to everyone. It can range from something very small like holding the door open and smiling for someone, paying for the persons coffee behind you in the drive thru, or writing a letter or giving a card to someone going through a very difficult time in their lives. The smallest sign of kindness from a stranger or from a close friend can be the hope that they needed that day because you never know what is going on in people's personal and family lives, even if they are your best friend or not.
   
If you want to feel fulfilled and a true sense of what happiness feels like, willingly do something for someone in your life or someone who you come in contact with for that day. Do it. Practice it. Demonstrate acts of kindness and do not expect anything in return, don't even expect a 'thank you'. Have no expectations of receiving something in return, and simply do it out of the goodness of your own self, and practice this / incorporate this into your daily life. Do it once a week, once every other day, once a day and watch how your mindset, your heart, and your love & appreciation for others and your life will positively change. Practice being more selfless without the expectations of receiving anything in return, give yourself to others and watch how abundant your life will become.
